Small is beautiful !
A real pleasure to create those small formats using the block printing technique on linen and silk. Small scenes of childhood remembrance.

The force of falling water. I wanted to express it on many meters of pleated batiste printed with progressive colours and a white line that brings the water weight on the ground; the piece develops in volume and has two sides, recto verso.

Black and dense, the shapes fall on raw silk. The first work from a series where the repetition of shape leads the pictorial space as a music rhythm.

Exhibition in conjunction with «Textile Support/Matière», at the Galerie de l’UQAM where I showed the works of the University’s fiber arts artists: Louise Jamet, Marie Langlois, Lise Nantel, Marcel Saint-Pierre and myself.
